Success in Law

Description: Where do you start if you want to become a lawyer? In five sessions, our Success in Law course will guide 18-25 year old students looking to secure an internship, vacation scheme or mini-pupillage this year through the key stages to achieving that goal. The course covers routes into law, how to write your CV and cover letters, how to build up your experience to put in them, as well as securing those all important, yet competitive, places at your dream firms and chambers. Advice on assessment tests and interviews will be given. The course divides into a solicitor and barrister route after the first two sessions to ensure you receive the most specific advice from those who have successfully been through the process themselves. At the end of the 5 sessions, you will have a legal CV, draft cover letter and the tools you need to apply.
