Who Is Cary

Carys graduated from The London School of Economics (LSE) in Economics & Maths. Following her time at LSE, she went on to work in Finance at The Bank of England. She then fully immersed herself in the world of Education, taking on multiple private tutoring and academic writing roles, as well as running the Business and Economics department for a leading online school. Carys has extensive experience in designing and writing innovative educational courses, as well as, implementing and overseeing the delivery of them. An area of expertise that Carys thoroughly enjoys is mentoring students through entrance examinations and interviews for grammar schools and private/independent schools. Carys has been successful in assisting students to gain places at prestigious schools, including Eton, Harrow, City of London, and Clifton College. Her teaching and tutoring experience spans from 6+ school entrance examinations, GCSE and A level Business, Economics and Maths and Further Maths, through to University level. She is also TEFL-qualified and able to help students achieve their IELTS requirement for UK university entrance. A further benefit to students is that Carys is an Economics Examiner for the AQA exam board. During her spare time, Carys enjoys volunteering at a local Dog Rescue Centre, property development and playing the piano.​
